Fox Linton

Fox Linton is a quintessentially British luxury home furnishing brand with a long, exceptional heritage.

Well known for our capabilities in creating opulent textiles, Fox Linton designs fabrics suitable for both drapery and light and heavy-duty upholstery, offering collections of durable fabrics that are predominantly made from only the finest natural materials.

Fox Linton is well known for it’s focus neutral colour palette, which has been expertly developed by our in-house designer Kathleen Butler, an RCA-educated designer and weaver with over thirty years industry experience. The collections are then woven in some of the best mills in the UK and Europe, where we work with experienced craftsman to create our sustainable collections. Wool, velvets and silk blends are our forte and our sumptuously soft-yet-durable linens are second to none.

Exceptional quality; ethical production.

While we are dedicated to creating fabrics of the most supreme standard, we remain passionate about making our brand as eco friendly as possible, deploying natural processes that are respectful of a legacy that dates back centuries. Complying with stringent EU regulations, by keeping all aspects of our business so close to home we are able to support local mills and to ensure our supply chain meets the high ethical and professional standards we believe in.

Quality designed to last.

As opposed to following fleeting trends, Fox Linton is dedicated to creating quality that is designed to last, in the hope that treasured pieces will still be well loved in years to come. Launching a concise range annually, our collections incorporate a diverse range of opulent woven plains, velvets, 100% silk-wool blends, and soft linens with a much sought-after tailored appearance – all offered in a variety of subtle shades. Resilient with undeniable durability, our fabrics are extremely hardworking.

Not just a fabric house.

Fox Linton also produces a concise range of bespoke furniture and wall coverings.

Mary Fox Linton

With each new season we aim to respect our longstanding history. Fox Linton was founded in 2004 on the ethos of Mary Fox Linton, an award winning designer affectionately dubbed the ‘Grand Dame’ of interior design. Innovative in her work, Mary first began her career in the 1950’s, a period when most UK homes were decorated with traditional brown furniture and a mix of chintz and damask décor, and when interior design scarcely existed as a profession. Now celebrated as a pioneer of clean white walls and floors, geometric patterns and bold colour blocks, Mary has been commissioned to work on a vast variety of high-profile projects worldwide.
